Job Title: Marketing Director, APAC

General Purpose of Job
Lead the APAC Marketing team to develop the marketing strategy and ensure its execution to drive business growth in the region which is in alignment with HPP global direction.
Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Directly lead and manage the region’s team activities, ensuring the team members know their accountabilities and able to fulfill them.
- Drive and promote the innovation culture and processes in close collaboration with other functions, regions and divisions within Huntsman.
- Support entire organization in building all financial cases and justifications for potential necessary investments to deliver growth plan.
- Establish and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the business requirement.
- Develop overall team skills and ensure evolution of talents.
- Ensure all Marketing activities are in line with EHS requirements and Huntsman compliance policies.
Education and Experience
- University degree in technical/business discipline, advanced degree in marketing / MBA is a plus.
- At least 10 yrs. experience in chemical setting in MNC and with 5 yrs. or above in a management/leadership role
Specific Skills and Knowledge
- Proven skills in marketing in a chemical environment, IP and financials understanding, public speaking, project management, time management and multicultural understanding, fluent spoken/written in English, mandarin is desirable.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively both internal (globally) and external.
- Ability to promote discussions with others, seek guidance, and to make persuasive presentations.
- Ability to self-manage and network effectively.
