We are now looking for an experienced Constuction Management Teacher to teach for Te Pūkenga at Guizhou Light Industry Technical College – Wintec International College, Guizhou, China. This is a fixed term positions for one academic year, teaching in the classroom up to approximately 20 hours per week, starting in September 2023!
We welcome teachers who are positive, resilient, passionate about helping students and comfortable with ongoing changes. It is also expected that our teachers can engage with less motivated students and develop good working relationships with other teachers, administration and management staff.

Key responsibilities:-
Supporting and mentoring student to achieve desirable outcomes by using student-centred teaching and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Helping students to understand and work effectively with the Construction Management content delivered in English.

Development of the Construction Management programme, including classroom materials, lesson plans, assessments, etc.
- Promote and contribute positively to the international college teaching team’s culture.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree in construction management or similar.
- Recent industry experience in Construction Management.
- Have at least two years’ experience teaching construction management to students with low English language levels.
- Use a student-centred approach to teaching.
- Have some overseas experience and ideally have worked in China before with young adult learners. However, this is not mandatory.
