Accountabilities:In the role you would be expected to:
- Develop and implement sales plans to maximise revenue from new clients
- Identify and solicit new leads and prospects through networking and cold calling
- Set up appointments and engage in consultative selling
- Manage the sales cycle and engage analysts and consultants at the correct stage of the sales cycle
- Understand client needs and propose appropriate solutions to address those needs.
- Conduct product presentations to small or large groups when necessary
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing and contracts
- Work with the Marketing team on territory-specific marketing campaigns and events
- Work with analysts to develop appropriate client solutions
- Attend training programmes and internal group meetings when required
To succeed in the role you must have:
- Degree in business, economics, international studies or languages (desirable)
- Minimum of seven years’ work experience in selling customised research or consulting in the business-to-business environment
- Experience in dealing with Government and MNCs across multiple industries, and conversing with senior executives and decision-makers
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Experience of selling research or consulting (desirable)
- A high level of Word and Excel
- Knowledge with internet, intranets and extranets
- Fluency in English and Mandarin

- The ability to build relationship, be a team player and work with minimal supervision
