They are currently seeking an experienced Costing Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Costing activities for programs

- Monitoring and reporting

- Carry out cost studies: planning, quality, meeting deadlines, etc.
- Analyze input data, identify materials and manufacturing processes, cost them using internal tools and methodologies
- Understand and explain product operation (system, subsystem, component, function, etc.).
- Identify and recommend ways to optimize the cost of a system
- Conduct cost/performance benchmarking and value analysis studies
- Support clients on value engineering activities
- Write study reports according to required quality standards
- Present results and ensure client satisfaction
- Write and update technical content / Improve internal tools, processes and templates in order to enhance customer value and satisfaction
Requirements
- Completed Master studies (or Bachelor with 2Yrs of relevant work experience) - e.g.: (applied) physics, mathematics, physical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied and engineering physics, applied computer science, automation and electronics development, systems engineering
- Experience in electronics development, HW/ systems development, mechanical components design or manufacturing processes is advantageous
- 3-5 Years’ experience in the field of cost engineering or product engineering and industrialization
- Understanding of technically complex contexts
- An open-minded personality, self-confident appearance as well as very good Chinese and English skills
- Travels: linked with priorities and plan
